Jeremiah’s Tavern, located at 2164 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road in Penfield, is now open! Doors will be open for service Monday-Sunday starting at 11:30 a.m.
Owners Jeff Reddish and Tom Masaschi are quite pleased with their new location. Reddish and Masaschi's latest location, in Penfield, is newly built from the ground up and features reclaimed barn siding across the exterior, with select reclaimed wood flooring. Impressive timber framing spans the vaulted ceilings. Although the construction is new, the reclaimed building elements provide a unique perspective not often seen within newer restaurant construction, which will enhance the relaxed and casual atmosphere of Jerimiah’s - Penfield.
The first Jeremiah’s opened 36 years ago (1978) on Monroe Avenue in Rochester. The original owner sold to Reddish just 10 years ago. He expanded to a second location, in Gates, two years ago. Reddish describes with excitement the opportunity to serve Jeremiah’s locally famous chicken wings at a convenient location on the east side of Monroe County within the Fair-Pen corridor. Reddish also hopes to serve guests venturing up from Ontario County along with those just across the Monroe County line into Wayne County.
With 40 beers on tap, those that enjoy a cold brew will be happy with the vast selection. Reddish's bar and restaurant will feature several craft beers. Expect to see taps from Rohrbachs, Custom Brewcrafters, Genny, Dundee, Naked Dove, and Rodger’s Mutt Dog Double IPA.
Customers will never miss their favorite sporting events while visiting Jeremiah’s as the Penfield location features five massive, 80” LCD televisions, with many more LCD TVs mounted on the walls throughout the interior.
Seventy new jobs were created with the opening of the new location. The staff is comprised of bartenders, kitchen workers, servers and front end greeters who aim to keep service timely and enjoyable.
The new space features a spacious and private party room, with access to an outdoor patio for dining. Seating options within the banquet space will range to near 60 people inside, with an 80” LCD screen wired to display information during business meetings or photo slideshows for less formal occasions. Access to the outdoor patio will provide additional seating options. Reddish hopes to provide live entertainment on the patio and also inside within the banquet space.
